In most cases a valid mobile number (a number capable of receiving text messages) exists within an account (ex: Total Supported Contacts) and will be opted in to the keyword linked to the kiosk (ex: Keyword Opt-in Contacts). However there are certain scenarios where this does not happen and it can cause the two sets of numbers to be different from one another.
Common scenarios include but are not limited to:
- Age Verification on a keyword (contacts that do not comply will not be counted as a keyword opt-in, but will be counted with total contacts).
- Keyword Deletion (contacts that were opted in to a keyword that has been deleted will still be counted with total contacts).
