QUESTION: On a spend based, to do have a "double points Tuesday" type of thing can the check-in multiplier be used?

  • Currently, the Check-in Multiplier only recognizes and multiplies the single check-in. It does not multiply a QTY Selector for a spend based program. 
  • Staff can double the points manually using the Kiosk Check-in Manager (KCM).



QUESTION: Is that [check-in multiplier] being considered for future enhancement?

  • It is not on our immediate development timeline, but it has been added to the list.



QUESTION: In this points example, what happens at 200 points? Is the 100 level earned?

  • Our team can add a setting that prevents the system from issuing multiple rewards if their spend exceeds numerous tiers. If added, contacts would only get the reward from the highest tier they've reached. If not added, contacts will earn the 100 tier and the 200 tier simultaneously.



QUESTION: Will the customer of the clerk enter the phone # and points?

  • There is no standard way but generally, a customer enters their phone # and the staff enters points and pin code.



QUESTION: Can you have a forward pointing [kiosk] for the initial check in, can you then not have a double opt in for that person? Only check-ins are done by employees?

  • Presently, there is no way to hide the NEW CHECK-IN button in the KCM. It's presence opens up the possibility that staff can and will enter mobiles to join the program. 
  • If a contact is not entering their own mobile number to join the program, we advise a double opt-in on the campaign.



QUESTION: Does reward/coupon get redeemed by staff using KCM?

  • Staff can redeem with the KCM, customers can redeem on the kiosk, or customer can redeem on the coupon widget.

  • APIs are listed in the MESSAGING menu of your accounts labeled Gateway API.
