Subject: Changes to Carrier Surcharges Effective 8/1 

Please be aware that T-Mobile is in the process of migrating legacy Sprint SMS and MMS traffic to the T-Mobile network. The migration will begin next week and will not require any action on your part. Once the migration takes place, reporting will start to show messages delivered as T-Mobile. While most messaging will immediately show as T-Mobile, some cached data will still appear as Sprint for up to 30 days.

In addition, carrier surcharges will be billed at the T-Mobile rate post-migration, which is significantly lower than the Sprint surcharge. The new fee structure is expected to be in place as of August 1, 2021.

• SMS Carrier Fees:
  • *NEW* T-Mobile MO/MT Fee: $.0025
  • Sprint MO/MT Fee: $0.005

• MMS Carrier Fees:
  • *NEW* T-Mobile MO/MT Fee: $.01
  • Sprint MO/MT Fee: $0.025

This affects all carriers in the Sprint family including Boost and Virgin Mobile.
