Subject: Short Code Delays Receiving Inbound Messages - 04/15/2024

 


Please be advised that our team has identified intermittent delays with inbound messages reaching our system from mobile handsets. These delays are intermittent, affecting multiple short codes, and not specific to any carrier.

*Please note* - This does NOT affect outbound scheduled broadcasts but could impact bounce-back and welcome messages as a result of people texting in to join a mobile campaign. Kiosk, API and web-form submissions should not be affected.

We have escalated this issue with our upstream aggregation partners and they have also experienced the same delays we are seeing. At this time this is being investigated upstream and we are in direct communications with our partner as they work to resolve this issue. We will provide updates when more information is available.

Upstream partners found and resolved internal issues with their payload requests that was preventing incoming messages from being accepted and processed. Once resolved, all rejected messages were able to be processed and delivered successfully.
