-- UPDATE -- 2/17/2026 9:25am PT
In the early morning of February 16, 2026, we experienced a temporary service disruption that impacted platform availability for a limited period of time.
During the event, a temporary connectivity interruption within our high-availability database cluster created resource pressure on the primary system. Our engineering team identified the issue promptly, restored cluster connectivity, stabilized database operations, and returned the platform to normal performance. Importantly, the platform’s core data integrity safeguards functioned as designed - no data was lost, no corruption occurred, and transactional consistency was preserved at all times.
As part of our post-incident review, we identified an opportunity to enhance protective guardrails in scenarios involving extended replica isolation. While the architecture performed correctly from a data protection standpoint, we are implementing additional resilience controls to further reduce the likelihood of similar resource pressure conditions in the future.
Enhancements underway include:- Expanded monitoring and alerting on cluster connectivity
- Earlier warning thresholds for database log growth
- Additional safeguards to protect system memory utilization
- Infrastructure resilience review and failover validation testing
These improvements are part of a broader infrastructure hardening initiative designed to increase fault containment and improve system stability under edge-case conditions. We view this as an opportunity to strengthen an already robust environment and further reinforce our commitment to platform reliability.
As always, we appreciate your partnership and remain available should you have any questions. |
